It stole my heart: a fascinating industry full of motivated, hard-working people with passion for their business and their products. These pure products, s wild and farmed, are wonderful, delicious and usually very appealing to the eye. It\u2019s a sector in which an incredible lot is going on, on all levels, and which needs to be written and told about. Hence the name of my site, SeafoodStories.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>My background<\/h2>\n<p>I began my journalistic career as a freelancer and then went on work for various publishing houses of trade magazines, acquiring a great deal of experience. My most recent job was with the trade magazine Vismagazine (FishMagazine), where I was editor-in-chief for the last four\/five years after having been both copywriter and copyeditor. At present I write for the trade magazines Visserijnieuws, Vismagazine (Netherlands), Visaktua (Belgium) and the English language website, Salmon Business (Norway). I also prepare press releases and conferences for various companies.
