Zo onbemind als rapen toen waren, zo onbekend zijn een heleboel vissoorten nu. Ontzettend jammer! Want vis is geweldig lekker en ook nog eens heel makkelijk klaar te maken. Zo was ik onlangs op een bijeenkomst van het Nederlands Visbureau over langoustines. Prachtige beestjes, die tegenwoordig heel veel voorkomen in de Noordzee en die ook nog eens heel erg lekker zijn. Qua smaak vergelijkbaar met krab, maar dan lekkerder, aldus kreeftenvisser Dirk Kraak. En hij kan het weten, want hij vangt ze elke dag en eet ze ook nog eens heel graag.<\/p>\n<p>Felicia van der Vet van het Nederlands Visbureau heette ons welkom bij de Seafood Boil. Een evenement afkomstig uit de het zuiden van de Verenigde Staten. Een sociaal eetfestijn, bij bruiloften, familiefeesten en kerkelijke bijeenkomsten. Het Visbureau wil de seafood boil ook in Nederland introduceren. Fantastisch plan, want het is een geweldige happening.\u00a0 Je kunt er van alles in doen: mosselen, kokkels, krab.. en dus ook langoustines, uit de Noordzee. In combinatie met aardappelen, mais en cajunkruiden. Ze hadden er zelfs een enorme pan voor laten importeren, vanuit de VS.
